Yellow Sunburst Gazania

This pale yellow gazania looks like the Arizona sun. This individual plant is a self-seeded plant from a larger gazania I planted a few years ago. The parent plant didn’t last through the seasons, but this little volunteer has found a spot in the rock garden it likes. This coming week, when we’re expecting temps over 100 every day, with a string of days above 105, might send the plant into a quiet phase for a while. But if we get summer rains, it’ll stretch and grow again!
