Most mornings, I see my lizard friends. In addition to this fellow, I’ve got a friend who usually hangs out near the compost. He’s yellow with a reddish head.
Sometimes, the lizards race over to drink from the hose. Sometimes, they run a few paces ahead of me, then stop and look back over their shoulders.
When I talk to them, they cock their heads and move their throats. They’re talking back, sharing their news about insects and sunshine.
Seeds of the Desert 
Aww, those lizards are so cute and cool! Also those flowers remind me, we finally got wildflowers! Now I don’t feel so bad for the bees and other pollinators that were already awake a few weeks ago with basically nothing to pollinate.

Yay for your wildflowers ! That’ll make it so much nicer for the pollinators ! And the lizards are awesome. These ones get pretty big, and they’re so friendly !
