Michaelmas Daisies

Did I mention that I love daisies? I do! So much.

These little Michaelmas daisies self-seeded in the mulch beneath the clay pots in the container garden. Last year, I’d planted a six-pack of daisies in the container garden, and they bloomed from early February through May.

After a winter rain this year, I was thrilled to see the daisy seedlings, and now they’re blooming!

They carry alpine memories and thoughts of the Pacific Northwest, a welcome remembrance of places I’ve loved.

I don’t know if they’ll self-seed next year, but I certainly am loving them this!
